LiteBreath

Effective Date: January 18, 2026

LiteBreath (“we”, “us”, or “our”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information.

1. Data Collection and Usage

1.1 Health Data (HealthKit)

To provide core functionalities (such as heart rate monitoring and recording mindfulness minutes), LiteBreath requires access to your Apple Health (HealthKit) data.

  • Data We Read: Heart Rate, Resting Heart Rate, Oxygen Saturation. This data is used solely to analyze your physical recovery and display trends within the App.
  • Data We Write: Mindful Minutes. When you complete a breathing exercise, we record the duration to “Mindful Minutes” in Apple Health.
  • Data Processing: All HealthKit data is processed locally on your device or within your private iCloud container. We do not upload your health data to any third-party servers, nor do we use it for advertising or sell it to third parties.

1.2 iCloud Data Sync

LiteBreath uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) service to synchronize data across your devices (e.g., iPhone and Apple Watch).

  • Your data (such as quit days, achievements, journals) is stored in a private database managed by Apple.
  • Only devices signed in with your Apple ID can access this data. The developer cannot access your iCloud data.

1.3 Usage Data (Analytics)

To improve the App experience, we may collect anonymous usage data that does not contain personally identifiable information (e.g., frequency of “Illusion Breaker” usage, crash logs). This data is not linked to your personal identity.

2. Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage: Your primary data is stored locally within the device's sandbox environment.
  • Cloud Storage: Stored securely via iCloud encryption.
  • We implement industry-standard security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss of data.

3. Third-Party Services

This App does not contain any third-party advertising SDKs.

4. Children's Privacy

LiteBreath is not directed at children under the age of 17 (due to tobacco-related topics, the App Store rating may be 17+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

5. Your Rights

  • You can revoke LiteBreath's access to health data at any time in iOS Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices.
  • You can disable LiteBreath's sync features in iCloud settings.
  • You can delete the App at any time to clear all locally stored data.
