Hylo values your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our commitment: we adhere strictly to a "Zero Data Collection" philosophy, ensuring that all your source code and editing content remain entirely local to your device.

1. Local Data Processing

1.1 Source Code and AST Parsing

When you use the Hylo standalone Desktop App or VS Code Extension, all AST parsing, bi-directional linking, and live preview rendering are conducted locally on your computer in an isolated sandbox environment.

  • No Server Uploads: Your documents and source code are never uploaded to AINX or any third-party servers.
  • Secure Shadow DOM: The rendering preview relies on Shadow DOM, ensuring styling sandbox isolation. Closed pages are cleared instantly from memory.

1.2 No Permissions Required

We do not request access to personal accounts, location history, or device identifiers. Hylo contains no analytics or tracking SDKs.

2. Third-Party Resources

  • If you explicitly embed external stylesheet CDNs or JavaScript libraries inside your HTML documents, network requests may be sent to those external resource hosts.
  • For maximum privacy when editing sensitive code, we recommend using Hylo offline.
